The 1983 edition of the Colmánach increased to A4 size, was comprised of about sixty pages and was printed on glossy paper. The Foreward was written in Irish by the President Fr. James O'Donnell.
The issue reflected recent events, sports fixtures and photographs of the year. There were some very fine articles including a history of the College by Fr. Jackie Corkery, a study of Blackwater flooding by Class 2a1; an article on the impact of the computer by David G. Rea. A great selection of historic images was also included.
The acknowledgements of the magazine again gives credit to Mr. Oliver Ryan and Dr. Cotter for its production. The book was printed by The Oriel Press in Charleville.
